Terms of delivery of the online store
Valid from 1 January 2022. The customer commits to the delivery conditions in force with each order
The online store's products are sold by RIVA Clothing Oy, ID number 2755033-6. We sell products to private individuals in Finland. Product prices include VAT. We reserve the right to change prices and postage.
Products are ordered online from www.rivaclothing.com via the shopping cart. Payment is made through our payment service provider Paytrail. All orders are confirmed by email, which shows the price of the order, shipping costs and the ordered products.
Terms of delivery of the online store
We will send an order confirmation by e-mail, where you can see:
- ordered products
- shipping costs
- the total amount of the order
You can check the content of the order through the user account on our website.
The order will be mailed within 1-3 business days. Delivery costs are 5.90 euros. We offer free delivery for orders over 150 euros.
Deliveries arrive within 1-2 business days after Posti has picked up the packages from us. The packages arrive at the pick-up point of your choice. Small packages arrive directly in the mailbox (1-2 t-shirts).
You can also choose "Pickup" as the delivery method, so you can pick up your order in Jyväskylä. Remember that your order can also be picked up by someone close to you in exchange for the order information. Pick-up time is on Mondays from 11 am to 5 pm from our warehouse at Niskakuja 4.
Deviating delivery times are announced in the "Current" section of the online store and in the delivery terms.
The customer has a 14-day exchange and return right in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. 14 days are counted from the day when the order has been picked up either by Pickup or from Posti. If you want to change the product, check the availability of the size you want in the online store. If the size is not available, please email us at info(a)rivaclothing.com so we can check if an exchange is possible.
You can mail the products for exchange/return in the same package in which we sent the products to you.
The return can be made at a Posti office. Write the return code 646233 and the company information on the package:

Attention!
The right of return only applies to unused and salable products. We do not accept returns where the product has, for example, been washed or has clearly been used. If you are returning the product, make sure that no scents, animal hair or dirt stick to it.
Failure to pick up the mail does not mean the return of the order. The return of the package incurs an additional cost to us that is higher than normal postage. If the package is left uncollected, we will charge €10 in addition to the original postage costs and refund the rest of the order.
We are not obliged to accept returns more than 14 days after the customer has received the product. When the return is approved, we register the return on Paytrail and, depending on the payment method, the amount of the order is either returned to your account or the invoice is credited. In some cases, Paytrail will contact the customer directly to verify their account information - if you have made a return to us, remember to monitor your email!
Attention! If you order with pickup, you can also return/exchange the product at Niskakuja. Exchange time is at the same time as pick-up time, on Mondays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
We charge €5.90 for the return. We do not offer free returns because we have not included postage and return costs in the product prices.
When the return reaches us, we refund the price of the returned products as well as the original shipping cost minus the return cost of €5.90. If only part of the products from the order is returned, the original shipping cost will not be refunded. If the order had free delivery costs (order over €150), but after the return the value of the order is less than this, we will deduct the original postage costs from the amount to be returned.
Please note that if you have chosen an invoice as the payment method, the return fee of €5.90 remains to be paid on the invoice.

If the product has been lost during transport, damaged or the wrong product has been delivered to the customer, the customer must report the error immediately by email to info(a)rivaclothing.com or by post:

Notification of incorrect delivery or defective product must be made within 14 days of receiving the product. If the package is damaged in the post, the product must be immediately complained to the Post.
In cases of complaints, attach a picture of the defective product and send us the information via email info(a)rivaclothing.com. This way, the message thread remains saved and does not get buried under other customer messages. Our clothes are sewn by hand, so there is always a chance of a manufacturing error. We always clarify complaint cases with our manufacturer so that we can trace the error. Depending on the error, we refund either a part or the entire price of the product. If we refund the full price, the product must be returned to us.
Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) operates as the payment intermediary service provider and in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj appears as the recipient of the payment on the bank statement or card invoice and forwards the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj has a payment institution license. In cases of complaints, we ask that you first contact the supplier of the product.

Frequently asked Questions
Almost all of our products are manufactured in northern Portugal in the small village of Ponte De Lima. You can find more detailed information about the factory here .
In addition, we have production in Finland. All our beanies are made in Finland and in addition we have made small batches, e.g. sheets and sweatshirts in Finland.
We strive to manufacture products according to demand. Sometimes, due to high demand, some products/sizes run out of our online store. In this case, you can leave us a warehouse watch for the product you want and this way you will receive a notification in your email when the product is available again.
Our normal delivery time is 1-3 business days. Orders leave from us every weekday at 11 a.m. That is, if you placed an order on the previous weekday after 11 a.m., your package leaves us for delivery the next day. We communicate about exceptional delivery times on social media and on our website.
